Consolidate your STEAM knowledge and experience a unique opportunity with Ozan who will teach you the basics of the different skills needed to tackle such a project.

Learn how to design a robot that carries out a specific mission, choose the best components, create and assemble its structure, implement its wiring, program it, in a fun, educational and friendly atmosphere..

Technical skills
Learn the basics of electronics, create basic electronic circuits using a soundboard, discover electronics with Arduino, learn to use and manipulate sensors and actuators, model in 3D using a computer, learn to make 3D printing of an object, and build a robot.

Project management skills
Lead a project from A to Z with a final production, experiment, understand, create, try, make mistakes, test, start over, innovate and succeed, think and help each other to find solutions together, design a robot that achieves a specific mission.

The Program

Robotics brings together several disciplines: electronics, programming, and even 3D design. This is what makes it such a popular topic for makers, and you probably won’t escape this rule.

Take your first steps in this fascinating world, leave behind your preconceived ideas and understand how it works… then start having fun building and programming little robots, and let your imagination run wild!

Robotic development and programming workshop : 6-week project with Ozan

Session 1
Introduction and presentation of the project.
Learn what microcontrollers are, and the simple principles of electronics. Install the Arduino software (Microchip programming) and discover
the Arduino environment
Design, build and program the first circuit (flashing LED)
Learn other basic commands and try the effects of different combinations.

Session 2
Learn the concepts of digital and analog signals, how to connect a button and sensor to the Arduino
Learn to use and manipulate sensor data
Learn to use a shield with the Arduino and drive an engine with the Arduino

Session 3
Information on the different types of robots. Learn how to use different types of sensors. Create a simple robot with simple materials

Session 4
Create an Autodesk account, install the 123D software (3D Modeling). Learn more about the interface
Learn the basics of 3D modeling
Design simple models, design models for use in the robotics project!

Session 5
Continue 3D design
Install the Cura software (3D Printing), learn the basics of 3D printing
3D printing of our first objects
Start 3D printing of the models to be used in the final robot!

Session 6
Share and take stock of everything we have learned so far.

A few words from…

I’m a Biomedical Engineering student

I am a student in biomedical engineering at the University of Bahçeşehir.
I studied electronic engineering at Politecnico di Milano for 2 years, but I wanted to change professions later. I consider myself a creator since my childhood, I participated in several jobs during my studies. I like to make prototypes of everything related to electronics, programming, mechanics or biology. I am currently working in an association called RobotEl, in which we manufacture 3D printed arms and hands for children who have lost theirs.

I am also working on a personal project about a bionic arm that can be developed with simple changes. So that children can use them throughout their physical development period.

I love sharing my knowledge and I look forward to teaching my favorite subjects!

Do you have any questions ?

How do I register?

Click on the project you are interested in and fill in the requested information. An email of confirmation will be sent to you.

Do you need to have knowledge of robotics?

There is no prior knowledge needed, only the desire to learn more about information technology.

Where do we meet?

Once your registration is validated, the location and appointment times will be sent by email and through whatsapp, as well as a link with the exact address. 

What material do I need?

Your laptop, as the rest will be provided and produced during the course of the program and will even be able to go home with it!

What happens if I cannot attend the course?

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by phone or email. Any missed session is lost and cannot be recovered, except in cases of force majeure (accident, hospitalization, health problem). If so, we will discuss with Morgan the possible catch-up of the lost session(s).

Can I get a refund?

Except in cases of force majeure (accident, hospitalization), the costs already incurred are non-refundable (unreported absence, voluntary and intentional cancellation during the program).
