A few words from…

I am a filmmaker

I am an Egyptian filmmaker based in Istanbul, I studied media design in Egypt. I have been working in the film and television industry for more than 10 years as a scriptwriter, director and video editor for feature films and documentaries.
I started my practical experience in 2009 in an Egyptian short film called “The Circle” and then another Egyptian short film called “The Door Partially Open” as a sound designer.

From 2010 to 2013, I worked on a series of TV documentaries entitled “Horizons” (5 episodes on the history of Egypt), produced by the Library of Alexandria.
In August 2012, I directed my first short film: “Qeryujin II” and in 2013, I directed a documentary film: “The Formula”. I also worked as an assistant director for the short film “It’s alright” and in 2013 on the documentary “Happily Ever After” as a videographer. At the end of 2013, I worked on the Egyptian feature film: “Odet El Feran” as a sound engineer. In 2014, I worked on the American documentary: “sameblood” as a sound recorder and I shot a corporate video in Qatar.

In 2016, I directed a scene in a feature film “Ambrus”, and worked as an assistant director for the short film “party poopers”. In 2017, I shot my short film “Day to day job” and edited about 15 documentary episodes on entrepreneurship for Aljazeera TVn and in 2018, I shot “That helium candy”. In 2019, I worked as an assistant director in an American cable TV filmed in Istanbul for “butterfly” (a baby product).
and to finish the year, I shot the short film “His Girlfriend”, which premiered in 2020.

As you can see, I’m passionate and will have a lot of pleasure to accompany you in this great project. See you soon,

Khaled
