Do you like to draw and create? At the end of each year, after December 31st, people like to send their wishes to their family, friends and colleagues. How do you feel about presenting your wishes for 2020 using material you yourself have created? Whether it’s elegant or fun, Morgan invites you to create your own personalized greeting cards!

The aim of this project
To share my passion for drawing with you
Reconnect with the pleasure of sending a small personalized token of appreciation for this new year! Choose the technique you like and the materials that inspire you: cut-outs, glued papers, paint, pop-ups, pictures, transparent touches, colors, patterns, confetti… Morgan will help you translate your ideas into original creations!
You will be able to surprise your loved ones by creating several unique greeting cards from A to Z which will enable you to express all your artistic and poetic qualities!

Artistic skills
To create your card, you will be able to experiment with a specific theme through different artistic techniques: sketching, cutting, photography, pop-up, collage, staging, drawing… It is the creative process: testing several versions so as to find the right one! You will therefore create 3 different cards around the theme you have chosen by having fun and letting loose with the various materials, patterns, composition, words, letters…
Technical and project management skills
Lead a project from A to Z, share, work in a group, create, design, prepare, produce, correct, integrate new knowledge, learn to convey a message, master a means of communication, know how to present your approach and its outcome.
The programm
3 sessions to help you to create your own greeting cards, around a theme that is close to your heart, with Morgan’s help and support. Also, take advantage of the Christmas festive season to sell copies for charity or to benefit schools and/or youth associations.
Session 1
Presentation of the project’s different upcoming sessions, explanation of the objectives step by step, discovery of the proposed tools and an insight into the search for references. We will discuss your intentions, your first ideas, your mail recipients and the themes you wish to explore.
This will allow us to develop a common thread and choose a theme.
Session 2
Introduction to staging, which graphic designers like to call “packshot” and the making of a greeting card photographed during a photoshoot. This session will be somewhat collaborative as each project will require the participants to help others in placing the various elements, adjust the lighting, etc.
Session 3
Introduction to the collage technique based on the discovery of artists or artworks who use collage in some way or another. You will choose your materials, bargain-hunted photographs, your own pictures and/or pictures taken during the photoshoot, which will be used for the creation, elaboration and realization processes of a greeting card inspired by the chosen theme.
You will see, it’s quite astonishing!
A few words from…
I am a graphic designer and illustrator
Passionate about drawing since I was a child, I started my first illustration blog in 2009, at 17 years old. During that same year, I also obtained my BAFA specialization in big games and handcraft activities and discovered the pleasure of supervising children. Today, 10 years later, it is still an unaltered pleasure!
Science, art history, plastic and visual arts preparation… It took me a few years to understand where my steps were taking me, but along my journey, I soaked up different knowledge, experiences, exchanges and techniques!
I had the opportunity to study in Paris, at the Ateliers de Sèvres and then at the ECV (School of Visual Communication). My path has often taken me to incredible exhibitions, conferences and exciting workshops, where I have always met such inspiring people!
I started my professional career in a very small company creating manual activities in kit form. In parallel to my profession as a graphic designer, which was just starting, I led workshops in schools as well as leisure and holiday facilities.
Since then, my steps have taken the train, then the plane and I have landed, here, in Istanbul where I dedicate myself to illustration.
I look forward to accompanying you in the realization of projects which will make you proud, help you unleash your imagination, allow you to express yourself through the visual arts and teach you how each hesitation is only one more step towards creativity!

How do I register ?
Click on the project you are interested in and fill in the requested information. An email of confirmation will be sent to you.
Do I need to have prior knowledge in drawing or illustration?
There is no prior knowledge needed, only the desire to learn.
Where do we meet?
Once your registration is validated, the location and appointment times will be sent by email and through whatsapp, as well as a link with the exact address. You can arrive 5 minutes before the session to get ready and arrive on time.
What material do I need?
Supplies and materials will be provided
What happens if I cannot attend the course?
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by phone or email. Any missed session is lost and cannot be recovered, except in cases of force majeure (accident, hospitalization, health problem). If so, we will discuss with Morgan the possible catch-up of the lost session(s).
Can I get a refund?
Except in cases of force majeure (accident, hospitalization), the costs already incurred are non-refundable (unreported absence, voluntary and intentional cancellation during the program).
